esweb

The optional esweb module provides fundamental eserp functionality in a web based interface.

 

A MIcrosoft IIS Webserver is required for installation of esweb.

License 0171000 - esweb Basic is required for esweb in the basic configuration.

THis license includes the following licenses:

  • 3010100 - esweb Office

  • 3010120 - esweb Report

  • 3010250 - esweb Customize

Login

A login is required for access to esweb.

Stay logged in

If you activate the Stay logged in option before logging in, the login data will be saved locally in an authentication cookie on the computer or device. The saved login information expires after 30 days of inactivity. The saved login information will be deleted if the log out function is used.

No login data will need to be entered from this device when esweb is opened again if the Stay logged in option has been activated.

 

This option should not be used on shared devices for reasons of security.

Employee login (personnel)

The esoffice login data (personnel number / password) cannot be used to log into esweb. The administrator can create the esweb login data through the esweb User management.

The Dashboard is shown as the home page after logging in as an employee (personnel).

Client / specific employee login

In addition to the employee login, limited access to esweb can be granted to clients and their contact persons (client's staff, system administrator, etc.).

Desktop view

Following the login, the particular esweb home page depending on the device being used (notebook, PC, smartphone or tablet) will be displayed, either the desktop view or the Mobile view.

Access to eserp data is online using an Internet browser, allowing work in many areas to be done 'on the move' using mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, notebooks).

Mobile view

The esweb user interface view is automatically adjusted for the mobile device used. A mobile view with the main functions is available for smartphones / tablets especially for use by technicians.

PC / notebook mobile view

 

If you wish to use this view on a desktop PC or notebook, or your device is not recognized as a mobile device, you can switch to this view by selecting the Mobile view menu command in this view. The mobile view will then open directly after each future log in.

Add ons / extensions

As well as the basic esweb version, additional optional extensions are available.

esmobile app

esweb is required for the esmobile app based solution (iOS and Windows 10).
