Digital signature with Signotec Pad

We recommend the following procedure for correct use of the signature pad from Signotec:

  • First, uninstall all relics of Signotec applications that may be present (perhaps from previous attempts) on the relevant device (notebook, etc.), and which are also no longer needed for other applications.

  • Then install the following Signotec drivers: https://www.signotec.com/software/entwicklung-api-/signopad-api-web/

    -> Download signoPAD-API/Web right at the bottom of the page.

  • Then change the setting for Signature device under Settings | General | Labor report - Overall to Signotec Websocket Pad-Server and save the setting.

  • Now open the page http://[YourDomain]/esweb/system/reset and click on the Restart session button.

     

    Proxy Server

    If you are using a proxy server, it may be necessary to add the address local.signotecwebsocket.de or the address used for the web socket server to the Proxy exceptions.
