Wage types

Previously defined wage types can be selected when recording working hours in a labor report. The wage type can be used as the basis for evaluating the payroll.

 

Wage types functionality

The wage types for recording the work times in the labor reports for the various areas are created under Settings | Bookkeeping | Labor report | Settings | Work times'Wage types' area.

Wage type

Assign a unique number for the Wage type.

Description

The name of the wage type is shown here. You can record the wage type descriptions in several languages in the 'Associated descriptions' table

Percent

Assign a percentage to the wage type here. Wage type percentages can be used to record a wage surcharge / discount.

The wage type percentages are recorded under Settings | Book keeping | Labor report | References | Wage types percentages.

Cost code

If you are using cost codes (for order forecasting among other things), you can assign the corresponding cost codes to the individual wage types here. If you change the wage type in a Working hours data set, this cost code will then be included in the data set automatically.

Cost codes for orders can be activated under Settings | Project | Project management | Settings | Order - 'General' area.

Not sent

If you use the wages accounting interface (esXLohn), you can use this option to specify for each wage type whether it is to be transferred to an external wage accounting or not. If you activate the option, the wage type will not be transmitted via the esXLohn module.

Hours only

If you use the wages accounting interface (esXLohn), you can use this option to specify that only the working time in hours is transferred to an external wage accounting.

Travel time extra

If you activate this option, the travel time will be sent separately to the external wage accounting by the esXLohn interface.

With cost center

Sends the cost center to the external wage accounting by the esXLohn interface.

With cost unit

Sends the cost unit to the external wage accounting by the esXLohn interface.

Associated wage type

The associated wage type is displayed in this field.

Cost unit

Select a cost unit here.

Invoice

Activate this option if you want working hours with this wage type to always be flagged for invoicing. Working hours flagged in this way can then be accounted.

Absence type

If the wage type is an absence (vacation, sickness, etc.) you can select an absence type here.

'Associated descriptions' table

You can record descriptions for the currently selected wage type in several languages in this table.

Language code

Select a Language code from the Languages reference table. The Language code refers to the language that is used for the entries in the Description field.

 

Multi-language capability for the program requires the license 0110340 Multi-language labels.
