Form of address code (key)

Enter a unique number for the Type of form of address here.

Language code

The language code specified is used to filter the selection of contact persons.

Matchcode

Record a description of the type of form of address here.

Format letter

Formatting of the form of address in the standard opening of a letter is entered here. You can also access the fields in the Contact person table from this field. The format for these fields is <Field name>. For example, <Company1> for the name of the Contact person. These fields are then replaced when inserted.

'For the attention of' format

Enter the formatting for the form of address for the 'For the attention of' field here.

Assignment Form of address code to Contact person

When the Form of address code table has been filled out, you can record the Form of address code for the Contact persons.

This is done on the Information tab of the Contact person.

When a serial Email is created, the Contact person form of address field is replaced by the Contact person standard letter opening form of address (Letter format).

The following fields can also be used:

• Email - The Email address from the Address data set
• CP Email - Contact person's Email address
• CP Attn - The For the attention of formatting field from the Contact person's form of address type
• CP Lett FoA - The Form of address formatting field from the Contact person's form of address type.
